Weirdness.
Since I’m new to Tumblr, and you already know I’m slightly odd, I figured I’d try to prove my oddness further. So I’m going to give you 10 odd/nerdy facts about….moi!
1. I sleep with a teddy bear. My teddy bear is named Pippin. I named him after the hobbit in Lord of the Rings. I think I had a small crush on the hobbit Pippin.
2. I lick all of the flavor off of chips before I eat them. Doritos, Tostitos, Lays. All of them. I prefer to lick off the flavor and eat a soggy chip. My friends think it’s pretty bizarre.
3. I collect items with dragons on them. I have jewelry, snowglobes, and even Pippin’s clothes have a dragons on them.
4. I have a fear of ladders. Not heights. I can deal with heights. I just can’t stomach being on a ladder. I want to throw up every time I’m on one.
5. I tend to make Harry Potter analogies in my every day conversations. I’m sure I’ll do it during my blogging too. You have now been warned. Be prepared!
6. I like to take songs and change the words to make new songs. I’m actually working on one now. I’ll probably post it in a few days. It’s called “I’m in love with a nerd”, based off of “I’m in love with a girl” by Gavin Degraw.
7. The summer before 11th grade, I read 40 books. 40 novels in 3 months. Who’s an ultimate book nerd? That’s right. Me!
8. I prefer old school Nintendo to all this new stuff. Like the Wii. I like the Wii, but I PREFER old school Nintendo video games. I miss Bucky O’Hare.
9. When I was younger, I had 2 dream jobs. One was to become a librarian. The other was to become Nancy Drew.
10. I love nerdy guys. Absolutely adore them. Probably why I have a slight crush on Patrick Cassels from CollegeHumor. He really is A-mazingly adorable.
So there you have it. I’m sure there are weirder people out there than me. However I must say, I am quite unique. Seriously.
